S4S elements are part of edged sawn timber being planned 4 sides. We do not sell any "just" KD elements but plan everything 4 sides before we offer anything to our customers.
This service allows us to”see what is inside of wood” and collect the quality which is required. Our customers can use 100% of all pieces delivered without any potential risk of minor defects hidden inside – that may always happen in just KD edged deliveries. This strategy leads allowed us to secure us a place on the supplier list of many highly demanding customers among the world’s leading manufacturers of furniture, chairs, doors, lamps or high end architects.
We work predeminantlly with oak and ash wood spieces but ready to offer also Maple, Beech, Euro Walnut, American Black Walnut as well as thermo moddified wood. There is no typical specification as each customer is having different needs.
Our technical capabilities allow us to work in the following range sizes: Thickness 15mm to 45mm. Width 15mm to 150mm. Lengths 200mm to 3000mm. We normally work in accordance with european grading rules (EN 975-1) but are very flexible to sort out any specific quality which may crate once product/project unsurpassed.
Our tolerances stands for +/- 0,2mm for thickness & width and -0,0mm / + 0,5mm for lengths.
We can offer also additional services like sanding, drillig or finishing with oil or/and lacquer.
