Three layer edge glued panels is ideal option for many challanging aeras where wood stability is a guiding feature. Our panels are cross laminated which mean that middle layer is glued accros (against) to upper and lower layers.
This construction limits the natural working of the wood as the direction of tension in each layer is different. These kind of panels are highly resistant to deformation and are best option to use solid laminated wood in most challanging aeras – i.a those with high level of change in temperature or humidity. We produce standard sizes (i.a for table tops, kitchen worktops,) as well as cut to size once (i.a kitchen front doors). Our most typical construction is 3 x 7mm which gives 21mm thickness in final product but we are totally flexible to make other combinations.
We can mix and match different combinations of spieces. In case of FJ onstruction we can offer Oak, Ash, European Walnut, Maple, Beech, American Black Walnut, Thermo Ash, Thermo Beech, Thermo Pine. In case of full stave long lamellas we can offer Oak and Ash. We work also cases where middle layer is FJ solid wood and outside lamellas are HDF etc. Our technical limit in case of size is W x L 1300mm x 3000mm.
We produce 3 layer panels from various types of wood:
